Happy Halloween!

This is Matthew's first Jack-O-Lantern (or as he says "janko-wanten). He loved making it with my dad (he calls him Boo Boo). Too cute! We are all very excited today and have big plans for the afternoon--going to a Fall Festival (I'm wondering if they should wear their costumes or wait til we get home? Hmmmm.) and then home to Trick or Treating. It's funny--we went to Target and bought lots of candy for all the Goblins yesterday. Matthew helped me pick it all out. We came home and dumped it into our candy bucket and put it by the front door and Matthew hasn't asked for one single piece. Is this my child? He asked if it was for the other kids when they ring our doorbell and I told him it was, but still--I never told him he couldn't have any! Too cute! It's like he knows he'll get his candy tonight. I just love seeing everything all over again through the eyes of my children. I think that is why I am so excited that Halloween is finally here!

I love the "janko-wenten" what great fun to carve it with Boo Boo!

"Through the eyes of your children!" well said, Darling, well said!

I handed out loads of candy last night to my neighborhood children and indeed, their eyes were so big, so happy and so excited!

Happy Halloweenie!
