It's just like riding a bike

I'm feeling a little nostalgic about Matthew. First of all, he's in Kindergarten and I'm not sure how that happened. Some mornings when he jumps out of the car, I get a kiss on the cheek, not the lips. One morning I didn't even get a kiss and that was unacceptable. Also, yesterday Molly was playing with their tape recorder and I started listening to it. It was a tape of Matthew from two years ago--right after Molly was born. He was 3 and he sounded so little. He doesn't seem any different to me now, but obviously, he has grown up! I played that recording over and over and he has grown so much! I know, I know, that's what kids are supposed to do--but I am supposed to realize it's happening! And then, this happened:

He learned how to ride his bike without training wheels.

I just don't want to waste a single day not realizing how much I love them, how important this time is, how blessed I am. I don't want to blink and they are grown.

Because it's happening right before my eyes.

4 people had nice things to say:

oh my - can you record Matthew's message on the tape recorder and share it? Molly is growing so much and is so beautiful and full of being a little girl. Great photos of both M & M!
