Matthew is bigger, louder, and dare I say, more "intense" than Molly. He has a tendency to run over her, literally and figuratively. I've noticed lately that he interrupts her when she's talking. I don't think he means to, he just doesn't notice. So we've started really working on this with him. I'll say, "Wait til Molly's finished." "It's Molly's turn to talk then you can have a turn." "Don't interrupt. Molly's talking." etc, etc, etc. And it's been like an awakening for Miss Molly! If she's talking and Matthew interrupts, she'll scream "No! It's my turn!" (Which is actually good to see she's being a little assertive)! Anyway, last night, we were all in the car and she was talking and Matthew kept interrupting. She'd had enough. He'd pushed her too far. She screamed "No Matthew! It's my turn! I'm NEVER gonna close my mouth!"
And she didn't. She kept talking and talking and talking. About nothing. Just so Matthew would have to wait.
