As I mentioned before, I am back for a re-vamped Photo-a-Day project this year. It's mostly just me trying to document our lives with a photo a day. Last year, I tried to do it on a seperate blog, but it got to be too much. I contemplated doing the same again this year, but still, too much. So, I'm doing it here, along with regular life blogging. To be honest, the thought kind of bugs me because I like things clean--you know--everything in its place, and it is a bit irritating to think of the two intermingling (I don't like my foods to touch on my plate, either. I know that sounds OCD, but I promise I'm not a weirdo--or not that much of one)! So, dear Blogger people, I wish that there was a way for me to post something, say my photo a day posts, and link them to a button in my side bar, so that I could click my button, and pull up all the previous posts in that section (but not like the whole labeling thing because I just want it to be that one label that would link to a button, not a list of all the labels). Thank you very much.
So, here goes.
January 1
This counts, even though it was taken at like 12:00.31 just after midnight. I love these people. The husbands were all friends and the wives gradually came along. Then the kids, obviously! We've celebrated NYE together for quite a while, but this is the first year that we actually let the kids stay up until 12:00 (usually it's midnight on the East Coast when we declare Happy New Year! and head home).

It was freezing, but we were desperate to be outside! Friends and sports to the rescue! Check the mean jump shot. He's got skills.
