Happy 14 Months, Sweet Molly!

Today, my sweet Molly is 14 months old. It doesn't seem possible. A year ago, we took her to the fireworks and she slept through everything in her stroller. She was a tiny infant and today, she's such a sweet little girl. She ate scrambled eggs, grapes (her FAVE), and milk for breakfast, and then we loaded up and went to the water park. She toddled all around the kids play area, splashing a little, walking in the shallow areas, and going down the water slide! She loved the water slide! Mike or I would hold her in our laps and go down. It's the kid's slide, but it is completely dark inside and probably 20-25 feet long and it turns and curves. (This is perfect for me, because I'm scared to go down the big slides. I have been since I was a kid and my cousin got a concussion on one.) She loves it, though! So funny. We left about 12:30 and she was asleep before we even got her buckled in. We drove to Subway for lunch and thought she'd wake up and eat like she usually does, then go back to sleep after lunch. Nope. She laid her head down on the table and slept through lunch, poor sleepy head! When we got home, Matthew and I took a nap, and Mike fed her lunch and took Molly to the aquarium to look at fishies and to the airport to see a few planes (was that for Mike or Molly??). They went over to my dad's and played a bit and then came home, had another quick nap and then dinner. She ate cheetos, more grapes, brisket and milk. She's also figured out that she can throw food on the floor and watch Basco eat it. She thinks it's great. Me, not so much. She's so little as it is, I want her to eat her food! She's still only 18 pounds (15th percentile for weight, 95th for height--just like me--ha ha!). She played around, we went outside and played a bit, blew bubbles, and she had her bath. Then Mike read her stories and put her to bed. No fireworks for baby girl this year, but that's ok. She is such a joy--so sweet and happy, but she also has little Molly fits. She throws herself down on the floor and cries and squeals. She throw her paci and flips from side to side. It's so funny--it's terrible because she's so cute, we all just look at her and try not to let her see us laughing. Even Matthew thinks it's funny when she does it. And it's usually over something silly, like today when I closed the dishwasher door. She had a fit. She wanted it open so she could take all the silverware out. Molly fit. I think she gets this drama stuff from Sara. My dad asked me today if I written down everything she says at 14 months. Not yet, but here's the latest list"

Ho (meaning Hello--she picks up the phone and says "Ho")
Bubbas (bubbles)
Pop (pop the bubbles)
Wooh wooh (woof woof--said when she sees a dog or any animal except a duck)

Love the Miss Molly stories. And as for her being dramatic, there's nothing wrong with that! It keeps life interesting! :)

Kiss your little drama queen for me!

Miss Mini Molly, little Molly expressions of desires with big sounds and precious flips on the floor! I believe I remember same physical expressions from Camily - hum, like mother - like daughter!
