Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire!

OK, y'all. I think this other mom lied to me. We were at Going Bonkers last week and there was this brother/sister set there that I noticed. They were probably around 5/6 years old and the boy had on this striped polo-type shirt and his sister had on a cute little dress made out of the same material. It was cute and I thought it would be really cute for a picture. It wasn't (sorry for poor use of the upcoming politically incorrect term) GAY looking or anything. So, I asked the mom where she got it and she told me the website, which I promptly visited upon my return home. NOPE. Nada. Nothing. Liar! I think she wanted to keep it a secret! Maybe I'm overreacting, but me thinks not.
I continued my internet search for matching sibling clothes, and they are all, indeed, GAY looking. Mike would DIE if I put Matthew in anything remotely lke what I found. Think: smocking. If you're not a girl, smocking is just BAD! I'm shocked every Sunday at church at all the boys running around in smocked clothes. DON'T DO IT!

4 people had nice things to say:

Isn't the human race amazing! And absolutely, Matthew the rising star football player cannot be caught in smocking! OMGoddess can't you see in 18 years when he is being interviewed on ESPN and some anonymous fan sends in the "smocking picture!" No, put Molly in a smocked top!

What a weirdo! I can't believe she led you down the wrong path!

Have you tried The Children's Place? That's where we go to find matching clothes for all the kids (birth-7) for Christmas pictures.

Saw your comment about Twisted Root on Hollie's site and we want to go there. Saw a story on it on Food Network and looked at their website. Apparently they have a sister restaurant that sounds fabulous too. Let me know if you make it to that one. You waited an hour, really?
