Ten on Tuesday

1. One of my fave blogs I read does a Ten on Tuesday feature--just 10 random things. I am not going to commit to every Tuesday, but here's one installment.

2. I celebrated my 2nd Blogoversary on August 29th. Well, not really celebrated, since I didn't do anything to commemorate the occassion, but it occurred. Yay me! Anywho . . . this is also my 201st post. That means I've posted about 100 times each year. Or every 3-4 days. Or every 72-96 hours. Enough of that!

3. I'm working on something very exciting. Very exciting! I'll let you all know when I'm done--which hopefully will be in the next 3 weeks-ish.

4. I'm in the middle of a project (what's new?!) making a head board for Molly's big girl bed. We switched her to a queen size mattress, which has been on the floor for about the past 6 weeks and she's loved it. But, it's time for a real bed! So Mike put up the frame and box springs on Sunday (complete with a bright pink bed skirt that Molly picked out). So, I decided to make a head board to complete the cuteness. Pics will follow upon completion.

5. Grrrrr. I'm very frustrated with headboard project. I'm having staple gun difficulties. I was elated to find a staple gun that I had a vague memory of having--couldn't believe I actually found it in all the crap in our garage. So I bought staples at Lowes. Came home, didn't work in that staple gun. Bought more staples the correct size at Walmart. Came home, didn't work for some crazy reason even though they were the right size. Went back to Walmart, bought new staple gun that matched the staples already purchased. STILL DIDN'T fucking work! I now realize that I have "light duty" staple guns and "heavy duty" staples. They don't work together. Now I have to go back to Walmart. But now the kids are home and it's time for dinner, then we have a meeting at Matthew's school.

6. I don't have an Ipod. I really want one. Really. Want. One. I've decided that it would make my morning eliptical sessions much more fun. I'm not asking for much--I'd be happy with a Shuffle. And a wee little gift card to I-tunes.

7. I love my girlfriends. I mean really love them. They are great. Heather, Jennifer, Elisa, Andrea, Luci, Hollie, Tiffany, Dena, Mindy, Jessica (who really is not my girlfriend, but my future sister-in-law, but who I really love). Most of them don't even read my blog to know this, but I love you guys!

8. We're having an amazing gourmet dinner tonight. Cheeseburger hamburger helper with green beans. Try to contain yourselves! It's a busy night! And it's the kids' fave.

9. I love Sonic happy hour! For those of you who don't know (is this possible?) every day from 2-4 pm Sonic drinks are half price. Half! We go by Sonic after we pick Matthew up from school sometimes. We went today. So I'm enjoying my icy cold Diet Coke with Sonic ice. Yum!

10. I'm loving the "cooler" weather! I just want it to stay warm enough to swim all day this weekend! We're having a mini vacation at a local hotel with water slide and I want to spend the entire day outside in the pool with the kids!

I'll leave you with this hilariousness:

Cute post. Love silly men singing silly songs. Have you ever seen Adam Sandler and Lunch Lady? Love it- especially the little Guns n Roses reference in the middle.

Looking forward to the pictures. Your f bombs make me laugh!
