Big Day for Little Missy

Today was Little's first day in the big girl room at school, aka: The 2 Year Old Room. She has loved going to "school," but Matthew has always gone there, too, and this year it's just Little. She was a wee bit more cautious than usual this morning. She didn't cry, but she held my hand a little tighter and a little longer than usual. But, she has some little friends that she knows in her class, so that helps.
I just love these little shoes! When we found them, we knew they were the ones!

When I picked her up, she said "Mommy, you posed (supposed) not leave me!" Ug! I can't stand it! But tonight putting her to bed, I told her that she didn't have school tomorrow and she was going to stay home with me--and she let out a squeal of delight (that warms my heart). When I asked her what she wanted to do tomorrow, she said "Go to mall. Ride the horsies (the carousel). Eat lunch at mall. And. What else?" Hmmmm. Sounds like a plan to me!

By the way, my 2 Year Blogoversary is only 4 days away! Holy Moly!

Football, Fun, and Morning Walk

Well, life has now changed forever--Matthew has discovered football. He's in love. He had his first flag football practice last night and that's where it happened. And, he's good. One of the dads that was helping with practice, who just happens to have 3 college championship rings, told me that Matthew is a natural born football player. Now I realize that he might have said that to all the kids' parents, but I'm just saying . . .
Here's a shot of my dad, Molly, and Mike on the sidelines. I was suprised when I saw this because I thought Mike was on the field the whole time. Guess not. And Miss Molly thought she was one of the players. She was so sad when practice was over!

We also played at the pool yesterday with Hollie and her kids. Too fun! I tried to get a cute shot of Matthew and Molly together, but I was clearly interrupting their fun. This is as close as I got.

Blog Hop--Favorite Photos

I'm gonna give this whole Blog Hop thing a whirl. Hey . . . a girl needs a break from cleaning, etc. Right?


Well. There are SO many. How could you pick ONE?? I can't. I only have about 1000. So, even though these have been posted recently, they are my two favorite photos that I've taken lately. Here ya go!
Matthew sitting on a boat dock at my cousin's over the 4th of July. He was just in pure heaven and I love this photo. Everytime I see it, I tell myself to hop over to Shutterfly and order a poster size. Still need to do it!

I. Love. This. Picture. My sweet girl in all of her sweetness. I am just one of those mothers who loves her children a ridiculous amount (times 12).

Who knows? If the blog hop goes well, I just might be a regular! It's kind of fun!

Fun, Fourth, Family, Fabulous!

I truly don't even know where to begin! This first picture is of Matthew on is last day of swimming lessons (last Thursday). It doesn't go with the rest of the pics, but I just think it's pretty darn cute! He is very proud of his accomplishments in the pool! We spent the 4th of July weekend at my cousin, Jennifer's. They live out in the country in a beautiful new home, and the lake is their backyard! It was such a fun weekend! I just love this picture of Molly--mostly because she's so stinking cute, but I also love the light at the end of the day.

So whatcha been doin?

Hi. How are you? Whatcha been doin'? I'm good. We're good. Good. I'm glad you're here. I've got a new look courtesy of my super-talented and amazing friend Hollie. She designs blogs and I love what she did for me! Love it! And, if you check her blog, you just might see a little something from me in the near future.

Mike got to by Mystery Reader in Matthew's class. It was so cute, I couldn't resist hiding and taking a few pictures. I got there late, so I missed all the kids hiding there eyes and waiting for the Mystery Reader to appear. Matthew was so excited that it was his Daddy!

I couldn't resist sneaking in to take a few pictures of Little in her room. I had to hide next door in the baby room and take pictures through the window, so the quality is blurry and not great, but I had to catch a secret peek!

I also did a super-quick mini shoot of the kids to get new photos for the blog. There were several that didn't make the cut, but that I liked. I love the hug shot. Molly's giving Matthew a kiss, which means she puts her lips on the kissee without the actual kissing noise. So sweet.

Oh, and how did Cindy Lou Who make it to this photo shoot? So sweet! That about wraps things up here. I'm trying to ignore the craving I'm having for buffalo wings that started last Thursday. I'm hoping if I ignore it long enough it will go away. I think I'll go eat my Lean Cuisine before it becomes an emergency! Hugs!

A Little Taste

OK, I didn't realize just how far behind I was. I just uploaded over 150 pictures, so needless to say, I won't be blogging all of them. But here's a little taste prior to the actual power blogging event!

First of all, a little kiss from Miss Moll. Love you!

I had Matthew and Molly do some painting so that we could have priceless artwork in our playroom. Little did I know, Molly has a gift! I am so impressed with her work!

The finished piece. I love it and I'm sure I'll keep it forever! Matthew's class is having a book parade today. Here are he and his buddy, Austin, dressed up like characters from a book. I love it! Of course, all the boys were pirates, firemen, astronauts, etc. and the girls were ALL princesses!

Oh, so sweet! This was taken on April 30th. Matthew was in school and my dad and I took Molly to Tin Star for lunch. Only, when we got there, she was asleep and my dad just couldn't take it. He sat there and held her the whole time. He just loves her. In fact, I'm pretty sure this picture is the screen saver on his computer. Its just so sweet.
