I've decided something. I want a minivan. I can't believe I am typing those words for actual people to see. I've always said I would NEVER have a minivan. But really . . . I'm 35, I have two kids, who am I trying to fool? It would just be so convenient. I could press a button and the doors would open. I could get up, walk back and hand Molly her paci instead of pulling over to the side of the road, getting out, going over to Molly's side and giving it to her. Not to mention the extra storage space, DVD player for long trips, and ample cup holders. And--I am quite sure that there are many other added benefits that I am unaware of at this moment. Now, I have also married Mike, Mr. Drive Your Car Until it Falls Apart (literally)--not that there's anything wrong with that--it's just not what I would like. So I probably won't be driving home in a new minivan anytime soon. But--I'm just putting it out there.
PS--I know it's been a week since I last posted. I've kind of been in a fog with all the sickies in our house. I'm busy disinfecting this very moment.

4 people had nice things to say:
I SO understand! I had to get a rent car not too long ago...and it was a minivan (not even one that I would pick out). But I absolutely LOVED it. They would call me telling me about the progress of my car...and I would just tell them to take their time. It was really difficult to return it! At this point, I would literally do ANYTHING for one...so I can totally relate!
NOOOOOOOOOO!
:)
OMG - go ahead and get the mini - you can drive an Lexus anytime!
congrats on the weight loss.

Is that a picture of you with the min-van? Kelly got a min-van, the super loaded Honda one. i made fun of her for a while, but it doesn't bother her anymore. She loves her van. I am still in a car. Kids are getting bigger and I carry much less baggage now. i wish I still had my Jeep.
